I was engaged by John Morris to put forward some proposals for relighting the Gresford Methodist Church’s internal lighting. The existing lighting mostly comprised of 8ft T12 fluorescent battens; which was industrial looking, providing insufficient light levels, as well as being expensive to run and maintain.
I was engaged to this MPH Construction project by a local electrical contractor, System Electrical, who were tasked with bringing life to the external lighting concept for this public realm area of Chester Train Station.
I was working for C6 Energy Reduction Solutions when I was asked to produce an LED lighting scheme that would match Peugeot’s most current showroom corporate branding; as well as this, I was also asked to increase the lux-levels to something more appropriate than was originally there and reduce the energy-consumption as much as possible.
I was engaged by Cox & Tyrer Ltd, electrical contractors of Bootle; Liverpool, to present the results of upgrading the existing external lighting to the branded LED luminaires that I had proposed within the original tender process for them.
This was one of my most challenging projects to date. This came to me from A&B Engineering (Liverpool) when they were looking at the original scheme that had been specified. They had noticed that the original scheme (done by a prominent lighting manufacturer) was not actually able to be installed as per their scheme.
