Sometimes, especially with the still ever-developing LED lighting source, there is not a simple of straight forward solution to a lighting problem; and there may not be a luminaire on the market to deliver a resolution. Because of my years of lighting and luminaires experience and my relationships with many of the key UK lighting manufacturers, I am able to work with their technical staff to develop a product that provides the answer to the problems.
BAE Systems (Samlesbury) had a requirement for a high-output low-glare low-profile LED luminaire that worked on their central battery system. At the time, BAE System’s normally specified manufacturer did not have a suitable offering for their requirement. So working with the technical staff of a reliable UK manufacturer, we developed a luminaire that ticked all the boxes. BAE Systems were very happy with the newly-developed product and have recently completed a second installation using the new luminaire.
